Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 9/6/25
At The Skin Edit Studio, your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The Skin Edit Studio is the data controller of your personal information. You can contact us at info@theskineditstudio.com or by mail at Suite 1/33–35 Cronulla Street, Cronulla NSW 2230.
We collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and any relevant medical history or skin concerns that you choose to share with us when completing our treatment forms. With your consent, we may also collect photographs of your skin to monitor your progress throughout your treatment journey.
Your personal data is used for the purpose of providing our services, including managing your appointments, conducting safe and effective treatments, keeping treatment records, and communicating with you as needed. The legal basis for processing your information is your consent and, where applicable, the performance of a contract between you and The Skin Edit Studio.
You are required to provide certain personal details so that we can deliver our services safely and meet our legal and professional obligations. If you choose not to provide this information, we may not be able to proceed with treatment.
All personal data is collected directly from you, either through our online contact forms or in-person consultations. We do not obtain your information from third-party sources.
We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers where necessary. Specifically, we use Timely, a client management and booking platform, to process and securely store your data. Your data may be transferred outside the EU — for example, to Timely’s servers in the United States. In these cases, appropriate safeguards are in place, including a data processing agreement with Timely that meets GDPR requirements.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil legal, regulatory, or treatment-related obligations, or until you request that your data be deleted.
As a data subject, you have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, ask for your data to be deleted, or receive a copy in a commonly used and transferable format. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you are ever dissatisfied with how your data has been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal information.
If you have any questions or concerns about how your data is handled, please contact us at info@theskineditstudio.com. Your trust is important to us, and we are committed to handling your personal data with care and transparency.
